Transportation Coordinator- Week-end Shift Job in Jackson 39217, Mississippi US
Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4:30am to 5:30pm Pay is $11.
00 per hour The purpose of this position is to process transportation and payment records within specified timeframes, and verify and process invoices for payment.
Analyze and interpret tariffs and contracts to determine rate applicationInterface with a variety of contacts to research & resolve payment inquires from carriersResearch and resolve payment inquires from carriers, vendors and contractors Basic Qualifications High School diploma or GEDMinimum 6 months of transportation experienceBasic skills with MS Word and Excel Additional Qualifications Strong knowledge of Bill of Lading information and various carrier types & their operationsAbility to use a 10-key calculator by touchEffective problem solving and communication abilitiesStrong interpersonal, analytical and time management skills
