10505804Telecom Designer/Drafter (AutoCAD)Start: ASAPContract: 6 MonthsLocation: Portland, ORUnfortunately, for this position, COMSYS is unable to subcontract, sponsor, or transfer H-1B Visas.
REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent; or the equivalent combination of education and experienceA minimum of five years of related experienceExpertise in AutoCAD and Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of engineering specifications and drawings, established drafting and design techniquesDesign skills involving redesign and development of detailed drawings from engineering guidelinesPREFERRED: Telecommunications circuit designOSPInsightRESPONSIBILITIES: Acts as a resource to engineering personnel to investigate and resolve problem situations or complex issues.
Researches, analyzes, develops and implements new programs, systems and/or processes in response to changing internal and external conditions.
Develops and maintains operational and procedural documentation.
Prepare drawings and plans to support new capital work.
Assist in design utilizing standards to update existing plan and profile drawings.
Prepare plans, material lists and drawings for both capital and maintenance work.
Prepare as-built drawings for emergency work and designs performed by third parties.
Provide alternatives and recommendations to internal customers.
