Technical Support Team Leader - 3rd Shift - Monday-Thursday 10pm-8am Job Description We are currently looking for a Technical Support Call Center Team Leader for our 3rd shift.

The ideal candidate will interact with end-users, managed services customers, product development engineers, network operations engineers and other technical support personnel either in person, by phone, or via email, requiring extensive experience in the company software, considerable ingenuity, originality, and resourcefulness.

You will also work with management to motivate and develop your team, and provide detailed updates on all shift matters on a daily basis.

Individuals must demonstrate excellent technical troubleshooting skills in a variety of technologies as well as excellent communication skills that contribute to timely resolutions of complex issues.

Responsibilities to include: · Ensure professional and courteous support to customers while directing shift operations· Maintain and create a positive work environment on your shift that promotes teamwork and cohesion· Ensure all alarms and alert conditions are handled within guidelines· Provide feedback to both management and team members.

Makes recommendations on activities of staff ie training, motivating, product/customer knowledge, etc.· Responsible for problem escalation and communication to management and customers as required· Respond to and fix system, application or server problems and issues during times of high volume.

· Responsible for monitoring database tracking of problems and providing status to customer and management.

· Provide daily status reports to management· Promotes and maintains a high quality, professional, service-oriented company image within team and with customers.

· Indentify areas of improvement to quality and help define solutions Job Requirements and Qualifications: · Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience.

· Possess a solid customer service and support call center background, with 1-2 years at a senior level.

Previous experience as either a team leader or supervisor in a call center operation desired.

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, ability to work in a team atmosphere.

· Able to explain technical information to non-technical people.

· Solid understanding of various Windows OS/Server platforms, of networking protocols and tools, eg DNS, HTML, HTTP, POP, SMTP, FTP, Telnet, Ping, and SSH etc· Programming experience helpful (Perl/PHP/ASP/.
