We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist 1 - #14984 in Chicago, IL Position Summary: Under direct supervision, provides first-level end-user technical support including installation, maintenance and support of software and client workstations.
May be responsible for inventory, receiving and stock management.
Responsibilities: - Completes assigned account creation and modification tickets and documents current ticket status - Moves computer equipment throughout the facility, as needed - Participates in special projects, as needed - Completes assigned hardware related installation and problem tickets and documents ticket status and resolutions - Completes assigned software related installation and problem tickets and documents ticket status and resolutions- Participates in on-call rotation Requirements: - Undergraduate degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications is required - Basic written and oral communication skills - Basic analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking ability - Basic ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment - Developed professional demeanor and customer-focused orientation - Basic organizational skills - Ability to effectively function in a team environment NAVTEQ is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V
