Technical Project Manager Job in Boston 02210, Massachusetts US
Technical Project Managers are responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the execution of client projects from concept to completion, with a focus on managing customer satisfaction, resource planning and overall profitability.
Project Managers lead one or more client engagements through all aspects of the development lifecycle, following defined development methodologies including requirements analysis, application design and development, resource planning, project planning, and scheduling.
At Interactive Factory, you will join a team of talented experts in web design, development and project management.
You will work on projects for clients across a variety of industries including publishing, higher education, non-profit, and healthcare.
Responsibilities: Manages a portfolio of technical projects with focus on client satisfaction, schedule, and functional solutionsOversees the development and tracking of project plansSets and meets project milestonesEstablishes and maintains project communications with client and teamMaintains and manages project budgets and scopeParticipates in weekly resource planning meetings in order to effectively allocate resources to the projectLeads teams of 2-7 engineersManages vendor relationshipsEnsures work quality based on company standardsEnsures ongoing client satisfactionHelps managing client relationships, expectations, and feedbackAssist with the creation of project proposals and Statements of Work and ensure alignment of budgets and schedules with project proposals by reviewing proposals authored by AEs and confirming hoursDocuments or manages documentation of the projectAuthors scope changesRequirements: 3+ years experience as a Technical Project Manager preferably in online publishing environmentStrong leadership skillsStrong technical background (converted engineers)Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS ExcelStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperienced with web-based application project management Compensation is commensurate with skill level.
