Technical Delivery Manager Job in Providence, Rhode Island US
A Technology Delivery Manager manages 60k to 5million dollar initiatives that include, but not limited to: information technology implementations, testing, upgrades, conversion and recovery relating to corporate change initiatives that impact a single major business or function.
Normally, initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.
All require cross-divisional coordination, communication, influence and negotiation.
Responsibilities: Analyzing present-state and developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementationResponsible for end to end requirements gathering and functionalityDevelops and executes systems testingActs as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groupsPerform enhancements and may test in an OAT environmentCandidates will need to sit onsite at the Providence, RI location.
50% of the time will be spent on documenting and leading meetings, providing work break downs, and updating priorities in the project tool.
The other 50% of the time will be spent on assisting a more senior Technical Delivery Manager on their task list.
Technical Delivery Manager candidates must have: Exceptional time management skillsMS Project skillsExceptional organization skillsGreat communication skillsThree to Five years of experience as a Technical Delivery ManagerExperience with configuration management and associated technologies is a plusAptitude to learnGood written and oral communication skillsExperience running projects from start to finish
