Job Function: The candidate will be accountable for gathering, providing high level design solutions and delivering system requirements by closely working with stakeholders.

Performing Analysis and producing System High level (4+1 Views) Design Models and System specifications.

The candidate will assist in implementation support and system enhancements and should be comfortable in executing multiple tasks.

Provide both order-of-magnitude and detailed estimates for software design analysis activities and artifacts.

Job Description: ANALYSIS & DESIGN: Individual will deliver conceptual high level design that meet/address Business Operation and challenges.

Interact with different stakeholders by conducting JAD session.

Analyze Business requirements and provide high level system design solutions that are efficient.

TESTING: Will review test plans, test cases at high level and related documentation.

SUPPORTSupport related to Business & System design Required Experience/Skills: Minimum of 7+ years of IT work experience focused in software system design with emphasis on system analysis using RUP and UML. J2EE JD

6. 1 or higher (Exposure/experience & understanding to perform how the current system is implemented and risk to the system to fulfill business needs)WebSphere MQ 6 or higher (Exposure/experience & understanding to perform how the current system is implemented and risk to the system to fulfill business needs and how it impact overall system design)Web Services (Exposure/experience & understanding to perform how the current system is implemented and risk to the system to fulfill business needs & impact different components of overall system design)DB2 (how it impact overall system performance)Must have ability to translate business vision/needs/concepts into visual requirement using any of the prototyping tools (like iRise, Protshare, Axure, Visio, PowerPoint, HTML/DHTML/JavaScript etc.) we are not looking for UX designer, but someone who can play that role.

Modeling tools (Rational Rose, Visio) (Must Have)Database Logical Design.

Must deliver scenario/storyboard based System Use Case & Technical Design documentation using following tools (Rational tools: Req Pro, ClearCase, ClearQuest)Must have the ability to think out-of the box and ability to present to clients and justify with technology.

Self-motivated, disciplined, proactive, strong analytical/design, critical thinker, Able to Articulate design to different stakeholders Strong emphasis on presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Health insurance industry background in the area of Claim Processing/Adjudication is preferred but not required.
