Primary Description/ Responsibilities Technical AnalystWe are looking for a Technical Analyst (TA) to work with both technical and non-technical business users in the Global Anti Money Laundering (AML) space.
The TA should have a strong knowledge of database objects (ie tables, views, scripts, etc.) as well as a working knowledge and hands on experience using SQL. In addition the candidate will have a firm understanding of web based application User Interface (UI) design and the technologies that support them.
The TA will work to migrate an existing application developed by the technology group in the business to the business technology group.
This will involve documenting all the processes currently running in the existing applications, as well as requirement gathering for new applications.
A strong database knowledge, a strong independent worker, and good relationship skills are a must for this position.
JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS1) Needs 7+ yrs experience as a Business Analyst working with business and technology user
2. Must have proven experience gathering requirements and documenting specifications (BRD/FDD/HLD
3. Must have strong SQL skill
4. Basic Database Objects skills with tables, views, script
5. Basic understanding of web based development (UI) Note: candidates will NOT need to develop just understand how web based apps are built Nice To Have Skills: a) Previous Bank of America experience preferred but not required b) Previous Anti Money Laundering a plus c) SQL Server and Teradata Salary Range: $50 - 62/hour W2 (ALL inclusive)Note: No 3rd party Vendors, NO SUBS, NO Corp-to-Corp, NO H1B VISAs, NO F1 Visa.
