About the Firm: Schwartz & Company, LLP specializes in accounting, audit and tax services for middle market companies in diverse markets, private equity firms, hedge funds, SBIC partnerships, high net worth individuals and acquisitions of US companies by both domestic and foreign investors.
The firm also performs fund administration for private equity firms, hedge funds and SBIC partnerships.
We analyze and evaluate operations and current cash flow; prepare multi-year operating and tax proforma projections; review acquisitions; as well as provide consultation for todays myriad forms of investment structure.
In addition, we boast a wealth of knowledge and expertise in developing tax-planning strategies for high net-worth individuals and families as well as shareholders, partners and corporate executives We are currently looking for a unique candidate to fill the position of Tax Senior.
The ideal candidate should have: Requirements: BA in AccountingMinimum of 5-9 years tax experience.CPA a plus Responsibilities for the Senior Tax Accountant will include but are not limited to: Initial and preliminary review of all junior level workResearch technical issues to formulate a basis for income tax return filing positions to be reviewed with managementIdentify additional areas of service for the clientMaintain active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfactionPrepare tax returns using CCH ProSystem fx software Prepare and review federal and state income tax extensions and estimated paymentsSpecial projects as assignedAbility to work with minimal supervisionComplete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines Benefits of Working at S&Co.
