Tax Accountant Job in Woodland Hills 91367, California US
MISSION: Assist in the preparation of the tax compliance of federal & state income taxes, property taxes, sales & use taxes and all other miscellaneous taxes.
Support the implementation of systems to compile information for all federal, state and local tax returns and reports.
DUTIES
1. Assist in preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns2.
Prepare non-income tax returns, including property tax, sales tax, and other non-tax filings3 Prepare/reconcile fixed assets schedules from book to tax basis4 Prepare apportionment schedules5.
Assist in preparing other supporting schedules for the quarterly and annual tax provisions6 Assist with tax audits7 Organize and maintain tax files.
8. Assist in various tax and non-tax projects as needed.QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience2 One or more years experience in an accounting department using automated accounting systems3 Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to perform detailed work4 Strong knowledge of Excel required5.
Knowledge of Oracle Financials and tax software helpful, but not required6 Demonstrated knowledge of business issues, acquisition planning, research and development credits, financial allocations, tax withholding and accounting for income taxes (FAS 109)7 Experience using tax software accounting systems.
