Talented Tax Manager Wanted for Growing CPA Firm Job in Tucson 85711, Arizona US
Accountemps is partnering with one of Tucson's premier CPA firms to fill a Supervisory Tax Manager role.
This position is a result of tremendous growth, and will be a stellar opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
Ideal candidate will have: an active CPA, strong knowledge of GAAP, with minimum of 5 years experience at a Mid to Large CPA Firm who has experience working with high end clients.
Must have a broad range of accounting expertise as well as skills to review complex tax returns.
Experience with Prosystems & CSA (Practice Solutions) a HUGE PLUS.
Understand the technical issues and possessing the skills necessary to review complex individual related tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1041, 709 & 990-PF Understand the technical issues and possessing the skills necessary to review basic business tax returns, including Forms 1065 and 1120S Reviewing projects and returns prepared by Tax Staff and Seniors Preparing invoices, following up on receivables and developing budgets Perform research and preparing consulting projects Communicating directly with clients and their advisors by phone, email or in person, and serving as the primary point of contact Attend client meetings Identify tax planning & consulting opportunities, including coordination with client's other advisors Proactive communication with senior management on status of projects and assistance needed Handling administrative responsibilities including billing, interviewing candidates, participating in training as an attendee and as a leader All applicants applying for US job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
