TERRITORY MANAGER Job in Springfield, Massachusetts US
THE POSITION: Our Client, a world leader in the medical industry, has an immediate need for a Successful Territory Representative to sell their products and services in their Springfield, Worcester, MA territory.
You will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers within the territory.
TERRITORY: The territory consists of; Maine, New Hampshire, Western Massachusetts; and Northern Connecticut.
(Hartford, Springfield, all of Maine and New Hampshire), The desired city(s) to reside are Springfield or Worcester MA. Overnight travel - (average days per month) 20% to 30%.
THE OPPORTUNITY: Territory Managers develop new prospects and interact with existing customers directly to sell the divisions products and/or services.
In collaboration with marketing and other partners, successful representatives develop and implement sales business plans for their territories.
Qualified candidates are able to coordinate and host trade-shows/exhibits/seminars/clinical meetings to build product demand, and reflect a positive and professional image to our customers.
Orthodontics experience is preferred! REQUIREMENTS: The Territory Representative position requires a four-year degree, you must be currently employed, have a minimum of 3 years of business-to-business selling experience and have had no more than 2 positions in the last 5 years.
You must also have a successful track record.
Candidates must have basic professional, technical health, functional, or business knowledge, and the ability to analyze problems and solve them creatively.
The ideal person for this position must have excellent grasp of the consultative sales process, a strong aptitude for learning complex processes and techniques, excellent interpersonal skills, as well as solid time & territory management skills in handling both tactical and strategic planning.
Professional selling skills and/or Strategic Selling training is also a plus.
Experience in building a sales territory is also a plus.
Strong territory and time management skills is mandatory.
Consistent proven sales success is also mandatory.
Qualified candidates must be able to plan for and make a minimum of 10 sales calls to group practice offices.
A valid drivers license is required.
PACKAGE: Our client pays a base salary in the $68,000 to $70,000 range, commissions @ 100% to plan $42,000, company car, excellent benefits and an outstanding training program.
