Systems QA Test Automation Engineer Job in Jamaica Plain 02130, Massachusetts US

The IT Quality Assurance Analyst will support the testing and testing automation of a web based healthcare IT systems written in Java.
Since the work will involve the creation and execution of test scripts for automation, familiarity with Java software development language and test automation scripting is required.
Strong communication skills, willingness to learn new technologies, and reliability are all necessary skills.
Responsibilities: Write and Maintain Test Scripts.
Based on functional and systemic requirements write and maintain written test cases.
Ensure that scripts are clear, repeatable, and exercise both prioritized functions and new features of the system.
Based on test cases, create full suite of automated test scripts.
Execute IT System Testing.
Based on test plan and test scripts, execute IT application testing in a timely and efficient manner.
Document all test results in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure that test results are written clearly for triage and follow-up.
Optimally automate testing processes through use of IT testing tools as deemed appropriate.
Ensure regression testing is completed on new releases.
Perform User Acceptance Testing.
Execute Performance and Load Testing.
Required skills: Minimum of 5 years of professional QA experience in an enterprise software environment.
Minimum 2 years experience using testing automation tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with IT system development lifecycle.
Experience interacting with end users and customers and development staff.
Knowledge of J2EE development environment.
Knowledge of relational database design structure concepts.
Knowledge of SQL statement syntax.
Knowledge of IT systems architecture patterns (eg tiers of an IT system, Services Oriented Architecture patterns, etc.). Knowledge of Unified Process project management methodology and documentation practices.
Expertise with QTP and LoadRunner or similar tools is required.
