Systems Engineer (DMR) Job in Chicago, Illinois US
Location: CHICAGO JOB TITLE: SYSTEMS ENGINEER Job Code: AMSL365Support Named account managers and DMRs in technical knowledge RESPONSIBILITIES: DMR Channel Sales Engineer will build and promote the Company's position as the world wide leader in Unified Threat Management.
Primary responsibility is to assist DMR National Account Managers as a technical resource to them and their DMR partners.
Person is to be available to train, educate, and answer questions for NAMs, partners, and their end users.
Must assist field team to be a key contributor to the revenue growth of the accounts, and manage to the company growth targets.
Person is to be the technical product leader within the DMR Sales group.
Responsible for creating product/technical webinars and trainings used to educate DMR sales.
Position requires heavy travel to DMRs across the US for training and/or events.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience as a sales engineer and preferred to have experience in the network security industry.
Must be forward thinking and have an expert understanding of the technology business sector.
Excellent phone and follow up skills required.
Previous experience in network security and/or Sales Engineer.
Knowledgeable in the following technologies VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.
Ability to sell via the phone.
Working knowledge of SFDC and Microsoft Office products.
