Job Description: This is for a Medical company: Experience in the following areas: Lawson Applications with strong background in Financial's Suites
9. 0 Applications preferred.
Lawson Business Intelligence experience is a plus.
Currently on version 91The System Application Analyst position will be responsible for building, updating, and maintaining support of business systems, and considering the business implications of application of technology to the current business environment.
Develop and implement new ideas focusing on process improvement in conjunction with user areas, including offering solutions on how to improve workflow.
Use proven troubleshooting methods and tools to resolve system issues -includes meeting with customers, coordinating with other analysts within IT, as well as working with vendor personnel to provide resolution to customers.
Creation of custom reports as required by business owners.
Provide input to project managers for development and maintenance of project plans, prepares written plans for tasks or projects when asked.
Accountable for due dates, driving tasks to completion and satisfactory customer sign off.Focus is on Financial's: Human Resources, Materials Management, Procurement Additional Job Info: Lawson HR program, called Employee Self Serve, will roll out in January and experience with this product would be huge plus.
Additional experience in supporting mid range applications or specific modules of enterprise wide system, such as Standard Register and Kronos is beneficial as participation in Team on-call rotation schedule is required.
During periods of project implementation, must be able to adapt workday to meet needs of department or project demands.
Qualifications desired: Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Math, Finance/Business or other relevant area and 2+ yrs. of relevant functional experience ---OR--- Combination of Associates Degree in CIS, Math, Finance/Business or other relevant area and 4+ yrs of relevant functional experience.
Preferred experience: Prior experience with enterprise wide system (Lawson, PeopleSoft, SAP).
Prior experience with Crystal Reports, MS Access, MS Add-ins and Query tools are preferred.
Prior small to large scale project management experience .
