Systems Analyst Job in San Diego, California US
Location This position is located in Kearny Mesa area in San Diego CA Hours 9-hour day shift, alternative work schedule with 24/7 on-call every 8th week.
Qualifications Internal candidates only (Sharp HealthCare employees).
Bachelors degree in an applicable field, such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Nursing, or Health Care Administration required.
Knowledge of GE Centricity Business is required, IDX BAR/TES preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in a health system that included systems analysis and/or data processing type activities is preferred.
Ability to effectively work with Sharp management, staff, physicians, and contract personnel required.
Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately with people, verbally and in writing required.
Achieve results for the organization with and through people required.
Practice good time management, and to demonstrate good leadership skills required.
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects using applied principles of project management required.
Knowledge of IS principles and practices preferred.
Ability to systematically interpret functional requirements into applications design, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users/clients required.
Thorough knowledge of the impact of IS methodologies, on the legal, ethical, managerial and organizational principles and standards for physician clinics and health systems in California is preferred.

This Sr. Systems Analyst will be supporting the Charge Capture group including the revenue cycle for GE Centricity Business applications including charge interfaces, BAR Admin/AR Reports, PCS, Statements, Form Letters, Claim Form Generator, Transaction Editing System, Payment Posting, and 837/835 EDI. Physical Requirements Incumbent spends 5-6 hours per day sitting at desk, computer terminal or meeting table.
Use telephone frequently; must be able to hear and speak clearly by telephone.
Must be able to calmly and professionally respond to frequent deadlines for reports and related tasks, and to prepare work and presentations on short notice.
Must be able to respond calmly and professionally to telephone or face-to-face contact from angry or frustrated users/clients.
