This position is located atour Network Operations Center in downtown Atlanta.
NationalNet pridesitself on its work hard, play hard motto, our casual work environmentand desire to see our employees learn and grow in their positions.JOB PURPOSE and RESPONSIBILITIES: ** Support customer requests via phone calls and work orders** Tasks include (but are not limited to)- Adding domains- Adding email addresses- Installing and configuring Apache - Installing and configuring MySQL- Installing various programs based on customer requests- Dealing with hardware issues as they arise- Dealing with server issues as the monitoring system alerts to them- Anything else our customers requestREQUIRMENTS: ** 3 years or more of Linux experience**NOTE: While we do have some Windows servers, this is NOT a Windowsposition.
Please do not apply if you do not have the appropriate Linuxexperience.
Windows experience is a plus but Linux experience isabsolutely required.
** 3 years experience or more with the following applications- MySQL- Apache- Bind (DNS)- MTA (including Sendmail, Qmail, Postfix and Courier)- Strong hardware experience including RAID** Firm grasp of networking concepts** Previous webhosting experience a plus** Troubleshooting skills** Attention to detail** Customer phone support experience** Enthusiastic attitude** Strong work Ethic** Must be willing to work with customers who own and operate adult oriented web sites.
** Must be at least 21 years of age.** Must live (or be willing to relocate) in the Greater Atlanta Georgia area.
** Must be available to work all/any shifts.
** Must be able to work on call if needed.
** Must agree to civil and criminal background investigation.An extended written test will be administered during the interview process.
