System Administrator / Network Administrator / Computer Technician Job in Houston, Texas US

We are looking for individuals with at least two years work experience in the IT industry who possess a broad set of technical skills.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED * Expert knowledge of Servers, Network Architecture networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning and monitoring * Extensive experience in system design and architecture* Extensive experience in system administration, including system maintenance, workstation support, Internet connectivity, load monitoring * Extensive experience designing and implementing backup solutions, and auditing existing backup solutions to analyze effectiveness * Extensive experience designing and implementing antivirus solutions for the entire IT organization including email and firewall protection * Extensive experience in analyzing remote access needs, recommending a variety of remote access solutions, implementing and managing those solutions * Extensive experience in performing security audits, knowledge of appropriate tools and software required to perform security audits, proposing and implementing security best practices * Extensive experience in hardware and software provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting * Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, servers, workstations, operating systems, and applications * Expert knowledge of best practices for email, Internet access, hardware, backup, antivirus, security, remote access, LAN technologies * Extensive experience troubleshooting network clients and servers * Extensive experience documenting thoroughly and appropriately the entire IT framework PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED * Dedicated to quality first and foremost* Exceptional problem-solver; sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative analysis of multiple solutions * Exceptional organizational skills, meticulously detail oriented * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently without on site management and zero supervision * Flexibility in regards to changing direction or work instantly
