Support Engineer Job in PLANO, Texas US
This Plano-based industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opening for an Active Directory Solutions/Support Engineer.
Candidate must have hands-on experience supporting 'Wintel' environments, experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2007, and experience supporting 25,000+ end-user mailboxes.
Must also have an understanding of PowerShell.
Prefer experience with the any of the following: Microsoft Windows Server 2008, MCSE, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Trend Micro ScanMail for Exchange, TMCM, OfficeScan, Quest Reporter/ MessageStats, Microsoft OCS 2007 Server, Microsoft Data Protection Manager 2007, SCOM, Active Directory, Disaster Recovery, ITIL, SAN, and EMC. Will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and designing Active Directory and authentication systems by following the corporate policies, procedures as well as documented best practices for the entire enterprise environment, including domestic and international locations.
Will be involved in R&D of new designs and technologies, monitoring/improving systems performance and maintaining disaster recovery readiness and procedures.
As a member of the IT department, will have the overriding responsibility of identifying and streamlining tasks and processes that may be automated.
