 SUPPLY MANAGERThis senior position within the Supply Chain function requires a qualified professional with a proven track record of managing commodity supply at both tactical and strategic levels, driving supplier relationship management and procurement needs within a global services model. As a champion of delivery to end customers and the enablement of vendor partnerships with Curtiss Wright’s Embedded Computing business unit, the Supply Manager oversees the management of commodity-specific suppliers ensuring delivery, quality, cost, and technology needs are met.   Responsibilities Drive all supplier procurement for commodity-specific portfolios Based on Curtiss Wright business objectives negotiate SOW’s, pricing, lead times, VMI, customer flow-down, and other key requirements with suppliers, incorporating terms into supply agreements or contracts where appropriate Act as point of escalation for all vendor-related issues, using influence and negotiation skills working with various functions both internally and externally to find creative solutions that will meet Curtiss Wright’s business needs Lead QBR’s with all key portfolio suppliers, partnering with other Curtiss Wright groups to consolidate inputs, drive key messages, and identify and manage corrective action plans Recommend sourcing strategies based on knowledge of commodity markets and Curtiss Wright business, technology, and risk mitigation needs  Skills Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including influencing and collaboration, with the ability to develop and sustain strong relationships at all levels with internal partners as well as suppliers Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record in successfully concluding and executing complex sourcing agreements structured to meet corporate objectives Strong analytical skills and a talent in seeking out relevant benchmarking and other data to build compelling pricing arguments and business cases Solid organization skills with the ability to manage strategic, operational and tactical responsibilities in a “roll up the sleeves” hands-on culture focused on delivering results  Education/Experience Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Supply Management including commodity sourcing, negotiating, and management at a senior level Experience managing supply chain in compliance with AS9100 requirements desired Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing knowledge desired Experience in external manufacturing engagements (i.e. contract manufacturer management) preferred) Working knowledge of SAP strongly preferred Degree in Business Administration or Engineering strongly preferred See Job Description
