Subcontracts Administrator Job in Elkridge, Maryland US
Under very general supervision, the Senior Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for preparation and administration of subcontracts, task orders, and subsequent amendments consistent with client requirements, government regulations, and procurement policies/procedures.
Responsibilities: Participates in teaming agreement and strategic marketing alliance negotiations with outside sourcesReviews client solicitations received by company and provides recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements to business management proposal teamPerforms tasks including the negotiation of terms and conditions, analyses of price, and creation of the subcontract documentMonitors the subcontractors performance, including the management of the deliverables and payment of invoicesKeeps fully informed on all subcontract standards, plans, and policiesPrepares and supports subcontract negotiationsReviews and resolves with subcontractors all issues affecting subcontract performance and ensures subcontractor compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and customer objectivesMaintains contact with managers regarding subcontract negotiation, preparation, and monitoringPrepares and disseminates information regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and terminationMay research and assist in recommending subcontract policies and proceduresMay provide advice and guidance to less experienced employeesThis position typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent, and two to four years of related (government subcontract administration) experience.
