Staff Accountant Job in Los Angeles 90025, California US
We are a small boutique accounting firm located in the Westwood area of Los Angeles searching for a new staff accountant to jump right into a full-time role.
We have clients from a number of different industries, with a significant concentration in real estate, and perform a wide range of accounting-related functions depending on the particular engagement.
Some of these functions include: (i) audit and other attest related services; (ii) full-service bookkeeping; (iii) financial statement compilations/reviews; (iv) income tax return preparation for individuals, partnerships, LLC's, S-corporations, estates & trusts; (v) estate planning and other tax-related consulting services.
We are also considering an expansion into financial adivsory services in the near future.
Our ideal candidate is someone that is ready and eager to learn on a daily basis as he/she would be required to perform a wide variety of accounting-related tasks (as noted above) on a consistent basis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) is required, and any experience with Quickbooks/Peachtree is a big plus.
Additionally, some form of experience with tax return preparation and/or some background knowledge of US tax law is preferred.
