Staff Accountant - Part-time Job in Lincoln 01773, Massachusetts US
School OverviewThe Carroll School is a dynamic independent day school for elementary and middle school students who have been diagnosed with language-based disabilities, such as dyslexia.
Position Summary: The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for accounts payable function, maintaining fixed assets records and other accounting functions.
Responsibilities: Process invoices and other requests for paymentsVendor RelationshipsMaintain Fixed AssetsMonthly Close journal entries and reconciliationsParticipate in Annual AuditPrepare financial schedules for various programsProvide support for afterschool, extended day and summer programsPerform other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications: College education preferredFamiliarity with QuickBooks accounting software or similar software Accuracy and attention to detailExperience with Excel and WordExcellent interpersonal and communication skills The Carroll School offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
