Duties/Responsibilities: Lead and assist the transformation of our Logistics organization in: * The establishment of a Raytheon Warehouse Distribution network capable of minimizing inventory levels while maintaining required customer service levels.

The current network holds several hundred million dollars in Raytheon and customer inventory and houses dozens of distribution centers from cost to coast across the continental United States.

* The definition of Supply Chain Sustainability initiates that can be deployed to reduce our environmental footprint while improving our competitive position in our industry.

Including, but not limited to the following areas: modality shift, paperless processes, improved recycling activities, freight optimization, vehicle utilization and alternative fuels * The exploration of increased innovation in the use our of our 3PL providers and Shared Logistics.

Including, but not limited to; the use of Logistics Lead Provider (LLP), Third Part Logistics (3PL), Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) and shared logistics with competimates.

Position may be in Texas or California Required Skills: * Minimum 4 years of directly related work experience * Ability to effectively drive positive change in a complex and dynamic environment * Ability to perform the sophisticated analysis and modeling required to determine the best value solution for our Supply Chain Logistics services * Capable of working in a team environment while effectively communicating with all levels within the company from executives to floor personnel * Demonstrated knowledge of the integrated supply chain, as it applies to the Logistics function * Experience and ability to understand technical issues associated with logistical requirements and performance including Risk and Opportunity management.
