Synopsis: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer II Job Description: Supplier Quality Engineer in Product Excellance, Supplier Quality Engineering org. Responsible for Supplier Development and Improvement activities including evaluation of new suppliers, engagement of suppliers in Process Improvement activities, and conducting Pre and Post Contract Award reviews to determine compliance to the Technical Data Packages submitted to the suppliers.
Job requires extensive travel within the United States with some limited out of country travel Required Skills : Minimum of 6 years experience in the Supplier Quality discipline, using process development improvement tools, and having an extensive supplier auditing background.
Strong Process FMEA and Manufacturing Process Control highly desired.
Supervisory experience in an Engineering environment also desired.
Required Education : Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or Technology or Statistics, or Business Desired Skills : A SQ Certification desired: CQE, CQA or CQM.
