Our goal is to establish, oversee and coordinate quality policy and practices ensuring alignment to Raytheon and IDS and enabling Mission Assurance Quality Program Lead for Patriot Job Description: As a QPL, you will be representing the customer'™s best interests, assuring product quality and effectiveness through out the product life cycle, and developing solutions to ensure the program meets customer / end user objectives for Mission Assurance and ensure NoDoubtTM expectations.

You will work closely with other Quality functions and Cross Business Teams (CBTs), to affect rapid closure of issues utilizing analytical capabilities and communications skills.

You must be able to work at all levels of the organization to drive root cause and corrective action utilizing analytical capabilities and communications skills.

You will be expected to develop effective relationships with both internal and external customers, fostering a working environment based on trust and respect.

As a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, team builder and collaborator, the QPL will be expected to lead by example, creating and promoting a value-creation and results-based culture for Quality while working seamlessly across functional boundaries, at all levels of the organization, to drive Program Quality to new standards.

As a senior member of the Quality Organization you will be expected to drive the transformation of the values and behaviors within Quality and across IDS, ensuring Quality is everywhere, everyday.

As a QPL, you will be responsible for leading all Quality activities for the Patriot Program.

The QPL will report directly to the Quality Business Area Lead for Patriot Programs, and indirectly to the Patriot Program Management Team.

As a key member of both the Patriot Quality and the Program Leadership Team, you will help develop strategies and goals for the Team.

This includes identifying improvement opportunities and driving results.

Responsibilities: The QPL will be the responsible for providing program / process oversight with emphasis on continuous improvement and implementation of lean methodologies.

Your responsibilities will include the early engagement during the program planning stages to characterize programmatic and manufacturability risks that compromise Mission Assurance.

You will also responsible for communicating and interfacing at all levels of the organization to positively influence change and direction.

This broad breadth of responsibilities shall include working with Development Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and System Validation and Test personnel.

Specific tasks include: ** Perform root-cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions and continuous improvement ** Drive continuous program / process improvements using statistical / analytical improvement tools such as Six Sigma and lean methodologies ** Perform metrics-based decision making, analysis, and prediction of future program performance ** Perform and support planning, facilitating and team building ** Effectively influence programs to be successful ** Ensure flow down of Raytheon and contract program requirements both internally and to suppliers, ensure compliance with contract program requirements and quality requirements ** Interface with customers to ensure compliance and resolution of all issues ** Analyze, interpret, trend and execute improvements on key metrics ** Identify systemic performance issues ensuring root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are identified and implemented with closure plans ** Ensure proper investigations are performed prior to closure of issues ** Generate proposals, including cost estimating and analysis ** Set-up program budgets, and manage the financial execution of the program utilizing EVMS Basic Qualifications: ** Minimum 10 years of aerospace/defense systems technology domains ** Minimum 10 years experience in new product development, integration, supplier and / or manufacturing activities ** Minimum 10 years experience in leadership roles ** Minimum 10 years experience in continuous improvement processes such as Six Sigma and / or Lean Methodologies ** Minimum 10 years experience generating technical and cost proposals, setting up program budgets and schedules, and managing cost and schedule using EVMS ** Minimum 10 years experience with Risk / Opportunity management, including the identification and execution of mitigation / capture plans ** Strong analytical skills in root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions, analyzing metrics and predicting future program performance experience ** Have or ability to get a DoD Security Clearance ** Required Education (including Major): BS Engineering / Science required.

MS Engineering / Science desired.

Will consider AS in a technical discipline, with relevant experience.
