Sr. Web Developer Job in Atlanta 30339, Georgia US
COMSYS, one of the nation's leading IT Staffing and Managed Services companies, is seeking a Web Developer for a contract to hire opportunity in the Atlanta area.
The client details are below: Successful start-up e-learning software company, with powerful and innovative web-based adult learning and education technology solutions for is growing rapidly, and in need of smart, talented and motivated Senior Web Developers for immediate hire on a contract-to-permanent basis.
This position requires at least 4 years of advanced development experience, and the ability to design, develop, and implement a variety of database driven applications using web based technologies specifically, advanced PHP with HTML, CSS, and Ajax/JavaScript.
Responsibilities will also include; troubleshooting, debugging and implementation of software code.As one of the principal developers in a start-up environment, you will be expected to execute good judgment in planning and accomplishing defined development goals.
This position requires that you have a strong passion for engineering, innovation, and problem solving, as a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
You must be able to work independently and be able to resolve tough problems that dont have cookie-cut solutions.
In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager, and will actively have a hand in the definition and development of new product features.
Technical Qualifications: Advanced experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL, Good object oriented and design pattern knowledge (Must be familiar with MVC Design Patterns and Subsequent MVC Code Patterns.
) Familiar with development frameworks, such as Code Igniter, CakePHP, etc Heavy Ajax/JavaScript knowledge and experience strongly preferred (jQuery and several other toolkits).
Good understanding of full LAMP stack, Linux command line Capable of providing first line support, front end coding, and content management.
Capable of working within a team of designers and subject-matter experts to implement their creations.
