Sr. Product Mgr - Consumer Protection Products Job in Mount Laurel , New Jersey US
Description The CPP Manager is responsible for managing new product development initiatives and/or a product line for consumer protection programs.
This role will be responsible for the planning and execution of new product strategies/launches and/or managing existing products.
This role requires coordinating activities across all functions and a close working relationship with vendors, TD Bank channels 4 - store, phone, atm, online, TD Bank business partners, TD affiliates, TD Insurance Canada, etc. and must be proficient at managing teams and leading cross functional initiatives.
Must have experience and be comfortable working with executive level management.
Essential Functions & Management Responsibilities: Drive significant YoY growth for the CPP division Develop new strategies and channels to drive revenue with existing products Develop new products that meet client and channel customer experience needs and requirements High degree of analytical skills - Forecasting essential, Pro forma development essential Identify and execute new product opportunities: research and analyze marketplace and competitive landscape, define target market, create and manage overall product strategy and roadmap.
Define and prioritize product features, write concise business requirements, and create preliminary design concepts/mock-ups of features/functionality for the customer experience.
Leads cross-functional teams to develop new products, quality improvements, and issue resolutions.
Negotiate timelines, scope, and features with internal/external stakeholders.
Develop business case including strategic requirements, pricing strategy, costs and revenue forecasts, capital costs, and expected profit.
Manage budget for product projects.
Identify, evaluate, select, negotiate, and manage third party partners critical to the delivery of product objectives.
Develops long and short-term strategies and tactics to maximize product success.
Communicate project progress regularly and concisely.
Ensure that products meet quality, cost, delivery, and feature requirements.
Create product positioning and messaging for marketing activities.
Serve as a loyalty program industry expert and support B2B corporate sales efforts, including participating in account strategy and customer calls.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree required 5-8 years experience in financial services product management, preferably with 2-4 years with insurance products Insurance and Banking experience a plus.
Strong communications, presentation, analytical, and problem resolution skills.
Self motivated, a track record of successful product development and execution, and strong project management skills.
Experience and comfort in executive, internal facing client situations.
Experienced with product development and management processes.
