Sr. Oracle Developer w/ RAC experience Job in Chicago 60804, Illinois US
A client of TEKsystems, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Sr. Oracle Developer to join their team for a long term contract position.
As a Sr. Oracle Developer, your focus will be to develop and test mission critical enterprise applications that meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities: - Adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques.
- Contribute to the technical code and design documentation.
- Successful candidate will be responsible for the design of complex ETL jobs - Conducting code reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and tested.
- Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle.
- Current technologies include DataStag
8. x, Crystal Report 2008, Business Objects XI R2 and Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) 11g.
Qualifications: - Oracle development experience - 5+ years - Expert knowledge in Oracle 10g and above, in a Unix environment - Must be comfortable with backup/restore, installing, updating, monitoring and tuning multiple Oracle databases.
- Strong hands-on development experience working with Oracle SQL & PL / SQL - Strong UNIX skills and shell scripting and ORACLE tools (sqlloader, export, import) - Strong documentation skills and be able and willing to document all procedures - Proficient in analyzing data to meet the business need - Excellent analysis skills, able to interact with team members to derive and interpret business needs - Mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills - Experience with offshore or offsite models a plus Required Skills: PL/SQL, ORACLE 10g / 11g, RAC 11g, BUSINESS OBJECTS, UNIXJoin TEKsystems® and get your career on the fast track.
