JOB DESCRIPTION ｢ぎ Sr. Java Developer Sr. Java Developer to modify existing application that processes a high volume messages (IBM MQ), parses, applies business rules and stores information in an Oracle database.
Required Skills: Java - 5 Years ClearCase - 3 Years MQ - 3 Years Oracle - 3 Years Job Overview Responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications.
｢ぎ｢ Bachelors Degree in CS, Engineering, or IS or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in the computer systems development field.
｢ぎ｢ Ability to work within a team environment.
｢ぎ｢ Experience building computer software within the Airline business a plus.
JOB SPECIFIC: ｢ぎ｢ Knowledge of Software Development - Involves knowing the general approach to developing software including practice, concepts, technology, and methodology obtained through formal training and/or work experience.
｢ぎ｢ Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probes all fruitful sources for answers, can see hidden problems, looks beyond the obvious and doesn｢ぎ┐t stop at the first answer.
｢ぎ｢ Programming Ability - Ability to effectively write code (e.
g., in 1 or more languages) in order to develop effective and efficient solutions to computing needs.
Solution Oriented - Maintains a positive attitude oriented towards coming up with solutions and developing new approaches, doesn｢ぎ┐t let distractions get in the way, isn｢ぎ┐t overwhelmed with problems/ issues.
