Job DescriptionThe Manager, Facilities is a member of the Real Estate & Facilities team.

The primary responsibilities for this role include: managing day-to-day site maintenance and repair operations, coordination of maintenance-related projects and initiatives utilizing internal and external resources, management of full service vendor contracts and multi-specialty vendors, and comprehensive financial planning.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Ensure ongoing facilities operations, maintenance and repair of Brocade facilities and building systems including electrical, mechanical and HVAC utilizing both internal and external resources.


Oversee maintenance and restoration projects, managing within project schedule, scope and budget.


Responsible for providing input and managing to the maintenance opex and capital budgets, providing monthly and quarterly forecasting, as well as monitoring spending via corporate financial systems.


Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels and contract requirements are maintained.


Develop and provide key maintenance performance metrics for management reporting.


Develop, document and implement consistent work flow procedures, update written processes as needed.


Work with vendors and internal resources to develop/maintain maintenance SOPs.


Establish cross functional collaboration with business units on site (especially Engineering and IT), understanding their basic facility requirements.


Establish and maintain appropriate customer service levels.


Drive ongoing improvement of services, systems and costs.


Manage Facilities online work request system and provide management reporting.

Requires 5-10 years of Facilities Maintenance operational and management experience with technical electrical, mechanical and building systems expertise.


Exhibits financial acumen; budget analysis & decision making required.


Preferred candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience and have a natural interest in expanding their areas of responsibility.


Essential Maintenance & Operations experience with the following: critical systems such as generators and UPS, planning, coordination and implementation of shutdowns, and full service vendor/cost plus contracts.


BS Degree in Engineering or Architecture or extensive job experience.


10-15 years of facilities project management experience.


Financial analysis for investment decision making required.


Preferred candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience and have a natural interest in expanding their areas of responsibility.


Must have demonstrated skills with executive-level communications, presentations and influence.


Comfortable with technical and business English usage ( documents reading, e-mails, conference calls )Physical requirements
