Sr. Compensation Consultant / HR-237 Job in Los Angeles 90024, California US
Position Description: The Senior Compensation Consultant is responsible for managing the client relationship and driving to completion all compensation plans and related projects and programs.
Through superior consultation and leveraging deep sales incentive design methodologies, tools and experience, the Senior Compensation Consultant will develop, implement and continuously improve commission, incentive and bonus plans to attract, motivate and retain sales and operations colleagues.
The Senior Compensation Consultant is also responsible for market pricing, salary surveys and benchmarking.
This key position will collaborate and partner with Executives, Sales Management, Legal, Finance, HR Business Partners and others to flawlessly deliver base pay, commission, incentive and recognition products and programs.
This position requires a high level of analytical, communication, presentation and influencing skills and experience.
*Bachelors degree required.
*Minimum 10 years of professional level compensation experience in one of or a combination of the following disciplines - base pay administration, variable pay/incentive plan design/implementation, executive compensation, or stock plan design/administration required.
*Minimum 5 years of sales or incentive plan design experience required.
*Minimum 6 years of Excel experience including knowledge of pivot tables, formulas and functions required.
Knowledge of FLSA exemption requirements.
Exceptionally strong analytical skills.
Exceptionally strong communication skills.
Superior ability to influence executives and senior managers.
Supervisory or management experience preferred.
*Represents basic qualifications for the position.
