Sr. Building Controls Specialist Use your experience to do field technician activities within the buildings operated and maintained for the GSA/FDA at the Federal Research Center, a seven building three million sq ft facility.

Grow your career as the US Food and Drug Administration consolidates organizations from throughout the Washington Capital Region and soon grows to 15 buildings and over five million sq ft. You will maintain the systems in all the buildings.

The customer set is high level health and physics research teams, and the technical and administrative staffs of the Food and Drug Administration.

The Field Service Specialist will work independent of the Supervising Field Technician to execute or supervise the provision of all technical or craft disciplines providing operations and maintenance services in the buildings.

Tasks to be performed include the supervision or actions taken to: Maintain and repair all electrical systems in the buildings below the medium voltage distribution system.

Maintain and repair all HVAC systems in the buildings including controls.

Systems are provided by multiple vendors, are centrally computer driven, generally DDC controls or pneumatic controls.

Help recruit, train, certify other senior technicians and craftsmen in special skill sets.

Must maintain absolutely safe building that includes medium voltage switchgear, large quantities or refrigerants, scalding temperatures of hot water, hot gases, and water treatment chemicals.

Anticipate system requirements for spares and prepare documentation describing the items required.

Provide expert advice to the Supervising Field Technician on technical questions.

Assist in the repair or perform repairs on CUP equipment from to time to time as directed by the Honeywell Site ManagerInspect CUP operating equipment from time to time as directed by Honeywell Site Manager It's an exciting time to join Honeywell.
