Sourcing Administrative Assistant Job in Atlanta 30309, Georgia US
Sourcing Administrative Assistants support Sourcing management and other associates by performing a broad range of administrative duties in order to facilitate a smooth flow of operations within the Sourcing organization.
He or she must work closely with associates,managers, and possibly executives within the Sourcing department in a support role.
They also interact with associates outside the Sourcing group.
Support management or a department by providing administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scheduling meetings, and distributing departmental mail.
Maintain information systems within the department by updating files, creating and revising purchase orders, creating and distributing departmental reports, entering style information, and revising factory and agent contact person(s) information.
Order office supplies and other materials as needed for the department.
Act as a central point of communication for a department or team to provide assistance and answer questions for group members and management.
Gather and track information on departmental projects and/or assist managers in coordinating and controlling the department's financial activities.
Experience and Skills: The administrative assistant must be able to communicate well with all levels of management.
Strong communication skills are required.
In order to maintain a smooth flow of operations within the department, the individual must be very well organized.
The individual must have the ability to be multi-tasked due to the amount of paper flow.
The use of a personal computer is a daily operation, therefor the individual must have advanced skills with software applications such as those in the Microsoft Office suite (including electronic mail).
Because such duties will often require working without constant supervision, the individual should be self-motivated and dependable.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Products.
Intermediate to Advanced Excel Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Must have good analytical skills.
