The multi year initiative will create a seamless finance function for all of Citi and a single "record-to-report" process that spans all finance processes that begin with the recording of a business transaction and take it right through to it's ultimate reporting or analysis within or outside of Citi.

The Controller's group of Corporate Center, Finance provides the Architecture and Design leadership for Standards and Platforms across Finance.

In doing so it incorporates internal and external (industry) inputs to create an integrated architecture for finance, which, in turn, integrates with Risk, Human Resources and other functions within Citi to form a larger set of interconnected processes and platforms.

To complement the ambitious goals of the Best-in-Class initiative, the Business Architecture group (a part of Corporate Center Finance, Controllers) is enhancing its resources and capabilities by forming a permanent Architecture, Design and Solutions group.

The Business Architecture group is now seeking professionals to fill the business architecture roles to accomplish its objectives as described above.

The role will report to the Head of the Business Architecture & Standards group.

The role is global in coverage and will entail travel across Citi businesses and locations.

Key Responsibilities: Work with business and finance units to identify platform needs in conjunction with an agreed and evolving business architecture for all of Citi FinanceIdentify and document business and process needs and requirements essential to design platform components in support of such needsWork with other members of the architecture group to incorporate such components as a part of an integrated architecture for Citi FinanceWork with other functions (Risk, HR, etc) to ensure that architecture is further integrated into a wider fabric across Citi and capable of delivering a seamless service to internal and external clients and stakeholders of CitiIdentify and support the standards (Data, Process, Platform) necessary to operate a One Finance for One Citi Skills: Business AnalysisLogical designClear articulation and effective communicationStrategic thinking and outlook, linking diverse but interconnected capabilitiesAwareness of technology capabilities Knowledge/Experience: Strong knowledge of Finance functions and processes across one or more of a spectrum of reporting, accounting, Tax reporting, Budgeting & Planning, Standards, Reconciliations/ ControlsExperience of creating business designs, data structures and platform solution requirements in support of finance or associated functions Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of work experience in Financial services or financial consulting required.

Masters or equivalent degree demonstrating strong ability to undertake comprehensive research and identify trends, patterns, solutions on a holistic basis.
