Solutions Architect Job in New York 10001, New York US
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be within a 60 min. commute to NYC. Financial Services experience is a huge plus.
My client is seeking a Solutions Architect (technical pre-Sales) who has experience with innovative new technologies.
The Solutions Architect will assist throughout the pre and post sales processto qualify opportunities, explore and document customer requirements,prototype and deliver custom product demonstrations, perform performance benchmarks, and to develop long-term relationships with thecustomer to position us as a true technology partner.
The Solutions Architect will also assist in the execution and management of projectsfor our clients and for ensuring customer satisfaction in allaspects of every engagement.
Qualifications:
Working with sales throughout the sales cycle.
This includes conferencecalls, site visits, presentations, technical evaluations, objectionhandling, proposals, and follow up on customer issues.
Working closely with Professional Services to properly define and scope services.
Overseeing the customer proposal process and ensuring that alltechnical information and recommendations address customer requirements.
up to 50% Regional travel in NY/NJ/CT.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Excellent presentation and discussion skills
Experience creating and delivering custom demonstrations
Experience with web application development (jsp, asp, php)
Experience with XML, Xpath, and XSLT
Experience with data transformation, normalization, and cleansing.
Experience with Object Oriented / PL-SQL programming
Experience with Java Scripts and XHTML interfaces.
Exposure to J2EE environment and standards, especially JDBC Experience with Enterprise Search or Content applications is a plus
