Software Quality Assurance Engineer Job in Morristown 07960, New Jersey US
Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. is looking for engineers who can perform Quality Control/Assurance Testing on our software products and ensure that our customers enjoy the products they purchase from us with complete reliability, stability and performance.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain and monitor test plans that test each aspect of a product's design feature2 Create new test cases using VBscript within a QA test plan environment.
3. Tests include design, feature, white box, black box, stress testing and long term testing4 Must be able to work independently as well as within a group5 Write and maintain quality assurance documents to describe procedures and checklists6 Adhere to and use industry standard QA methodologies.
Requirements
1. Must have demonstrated knowledge and prior QA experience (certification is a plus)2 Knowledge of Windows and Windows Security required.
UNIX knowledge a plus3 Knowledge of System utilization performance tools and components4 Experience with front-end/GUI testing tools like WinRunner and LoadRunner5 Knowledge and understanding of SQL Server database.
Oracle knowledge a plus6 Attention to detail, positive attitude, the ability to learn and be challenged.
7. Pride in quality and timeliness are all attributes the successful candidate must have8 Working knowledge of VBScripting and/or PowerShell a plus9 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
