Social Worker I Job in 14209
Catholic Charities has an excellent professional development opportunity available for the following position: Social Worker I ? ? F/T Social Worker position responsible for conducting the assessment of client?s residential needs within the community/housing setting.
Acts as an advocate for clients with landlords, housing agencies, & contractors, etc. & maintain current awareness & working relationship with community resources available to support client needs.
Assumes responsibility for professional development through participation in agency training, planning, & when appropriate; attend workshops & continuing education classes.
Ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership in the recruitment, development, assignment of volunteers in order to increase their capacity to participate & possess a Bachelors or Master?s degree in Social Work or related field.
Must have a valid NYS Driver?s license.
