Social Media Engagement Manager Wirestone works with world-class brands in helping them is explore new ways to engage their consumers through the emerging areas of the digital arena, such as social media.

This includes participating in many of the social communities, networks and platforms that consumers are already joining and engaging within, along with other strategic efforts.

You will be the voice of our clients brand within the social communities and environments.

We expect this person to be a passionate representation and emissary of the brand, products, initiatives and causes; both with consumers and internally within our clients organization.

We are searching for a person that has a passion for social media and can clearly demonstrate experience: proactive social engagement and dialogue through platforms such at twitter, blog planning and posting, community development and management through both platforms like facebook & custom communities and external reactive and proactive outreach.

As a Social Media Engagement Manager, you will work with the VP, Marketing & other cross-functional members of the organization to define, plan and execute long-term social engagement solutions as well as create messaging for marketing campaigns, web sites, social media platforms and other communications.

Youll be the go-to person for the entire organization in helping our clients create maximum value through our participation in this important area of marketing & consumer engagement.

You are already well-versed in myriad social spaces, including their purpose and use from business objectives, demographics, growth, experiential capabilities and functionalities perspectives.

If you are a crafter and are active in the crafting communities, that is a huge extra and will position you well for success in engaging the passionate community of crafters that already exist online.

Key Responsibilities: · Representing our clients brands by being authentic, personable & engaging online (and offline)· Facilitating and integrating social content (Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube)· Participating in the dialog & conversations· Collaborating with internal constituents like legal, customer support, store operations, merchandising and others· Working internally and with partners to measure the success of the various social activities; and consulting with leadership on the results and recommended action.

Overall Qualifications: · Knowledge and understanding of social technologies, a passion for tracking new trends and how they can impact business.

· Have a bachelors degree in business, marketing, journalism or related field.

· You are an wiz at online research, possesses excellent writing skills and can be persuasive when the time comes · Have 3-5 years work experience in advertising, public relations or journalism· Demonstrated creativity, engagement and collaboration within social media· Demonstrated the ability to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns· When the time comes (and it will) you have the ability to identify threats and opportunities within the social space and can make expedient decisions about how to respond or informing leadership.

Social Media Qualifications: · You were an early adopter of social media and often have people asking you Where do you find the time to participate? It is a part of your life by choice, not force.

· Very active within the social web and proven engagement equity within Twitter, facebook, youtube and others.

Ideal would be over 200 followers on Twitter and 100 friends on facebook.

· You understand how social media is being impacted by the mobility and the various mobile platforms like the iPhone and Android.

More important, how a retailer can capitalize.

· Can clearly articulate what leader-brands are doing to add-value within the social space, who is doing well and who isnt.

· Experience in integrating content into multiple social channels· Understanding how retail marketing drives store traffic and how social media can support and augment other retail marketing efforts.
