L-3 has an opening for an Intermediate Adjunct Instructor / Faculty.

The purpose of this project is to provide training to the NSA / CSS workforce and to maintain existing course content for currency and relevancy.

The instruction will employ both classroom instruction and alternative delivery methods for students located at NSAW, Extended Enterprise and possibly at other CONUS / OCONUS locations as deemed necessary to the mission.

Courses / Subject Matter in evolving technologies, analytic skills and practices associated with a wide range of disciplines.

Candidates must have experience in at least one of these disciplines: Computer Network Operations Intelligence Analysis Information Assurance Network Operations Telecommunications Networking Signals Analysis Cryptologic Access Computer Science Mathematics Cryptanalysis Geographical Information systems Engineering Systems Engineering Physical Sciences The Smart Targeting Enhancement Program (STEP) Instructor / Faculty will employ the appropriate instructional methodologies to ensure all learners develop the knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively perform their job role and thereby, make certain each student derives the greatest value from their respective training.

STEP Instructor / Faculty must be able to: Use blended learning technologies, deliver training on the knowledge and skills required for conducting compliant, effective and efficient COMINT targeting.

Work with course developers to ensure the correct information and best teaching methodologies are used.

Facilitate On-the-Job Training (OJT) for the S2 Targeting and Tasking Specialists (TTS).

This might include teaching the TTS how best to provide OJT and assisting them in starting an OJT program within their organization.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications: ****Interested candidates with a TS/SCI Clearance and a CI Poly can be accepted for the program, however, the individual must be able to pass a FS Poly to remain employed.

**** Eight (8) years applied, practical work experience, within the last six (6) years, in the specified course subject matter, which may include teaching experience.

Preferably two (2) years experience within the last three (3) years, in preparing and presenting skills-based instruction to adults in the course subject matter area, to include: -Using teaching technologies (such as SMART Board, Symposium, BLACKBOARD, eCampus, Centra / eClass or Video teleconferencing) -Facilitating student learning through role-playing, operational simulations, on-line forums and multi-media information presentation.

Two (2) years experience in all of the following: -Organizing and sequencing course content, -Applying both platform and virtual delivery techniques, tests, learning assessments and questioning techniques, -Designing and creating support materials, dealing with challenging classroom situations, classroom management, the use of technology and the practice of active learning strategies to increase student retention.

Practical experience in using BLACKBOARD (e-Campus) blended learning technologies.

This can be as limited as having taken a college-level class through BLACKBOARD.

At least five (5) years of COMINT experience within the last ten (10) years.

At least five (5) years experience and knowledge of SIGINT principles, practices, concepts and techniques as an analyst or collector within the last 15 years.

Experience within the last two (2) years of targeting and selector management using the following targeting tools: UTT/GAMUT, CADENCE, and OCTAVE.

Experience with mentoring, coaching or On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs.
