Shipping Clerk Job in Decatur 30030, Georgia US
JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Purpose: understanding the entire shipping process; know freight terms, documentation, bills of landing; receive and prepare orders; ship product to customers by scheduling pick up appointments; entering computer data; verifying inventory.
Essencial Responsabilities: Control shipments by verifying quantity and items;Prepare and process orders in shipping systems;Complete paper work (Invoice, Packing List, Certificates of Compliance) and labels;Prioritize daily workload and troubleshoot pending issues to clear shipments;Work without supervision to coordinate daily orders for shipment using standard work instructions to gather, verify, consolidate, and load finishes goods;Coordinate with freight companies for pick up as needed and verify all associated documentation.
Requirements and Skills: i) ability to follow written and verbal directions in the English language; (ii) ability to speak/read/write English; (iii) strong organizational skills; (iv) work well under pressure; (v) good computer skills (world, excel, outlook); (vi) deadline-oriented, time management, persitence, independence, detail oriented, and proactive.
