Senior Web Developer Job in Los Angeles 90001, California US
DescriptionProvide technical expertise to corporate support team utilizing a structured approach to software development.
Maintain and develop key internal and external web assets for The Cheesecake Factory including but not limited to the corporate site (primarily Websphere).
Document and analyze requirements gathered from internal clients.
Design and develop test plans and quality assessments for new and existing solutions.
Contribute to the decision making process in areas regarding the development and deployment of software technologies throughout the organization.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, and maintain data-driven web services and solutionsProvide support for existing web/eCommerce systems and processes, both Websphere and custom solutions.
Primary supported systems/processes will be front-end (GUI) and process integration (SOA) with partner services and applicationsInteract with clients to gather and document detailed requirements for changes and enhancements to existing systems as well as for new business systemsUse and promote established SDLC standards, QA and change control proceduresTrain first and second level support personnel and provide third level support as neededInvest time to grow personal skills and skills of other staff membersQualificationsPleasant and professional demeanorExcellent communication and comprehension skillsExcellent organization and planning skillsExceptional analytical abilities, problem solving, and follow through skills requiredStrong experience with Web architecture and Web design and development tools and languages5 years demonstrated experience building data driven web applications using JAVA technologies and DB25 years experience with server side and client side scripting (vbscript, javascript, DHTML, AJAX, XHTML, FLEX, JSP, JDBC, Java Servlets, Javabeans/EJBs, SQL, SOAP, XML/XSLT, ANT and /or CVS)Understanding of Websphere Application Server and Websphere Commerce Server desirableExposure to and light experience with Websphere administration - application of APARs, Fix Packs and Feature Packs to WAS/WCSExperience developing WCS website/web application utilizing extended site (e-sites) highly desirableExperience implementing, integrating and supporting custom development and packaged software applicationsExperience applying formal Human Factoring concepts during web interface developmentExperience in a restaurant IT shop is desirableCommitment to excellence in service and performanceFor further information on our company, visit www.thecheesecakefactory.com.
