ExpectationsFinancial benchmarks to be set with Executive Management Team for a 6 month measurement.
Propose and collaborate on growth goals and projections.
Provide a quick lay of the land and evaluation within 30 days.
Evaluate current book of business.
Develop and present a strategic business plan within 60 days.
ResponsibilitiesA significant portion of our clients business development comes from large national enterprise partners and broker relationships, as well as from the companys vision to continually develop new channels for growth.
To equally focus more attention in both areas, the company is seeking a senior level account management/sales and business development executive to manage, develop, and secure large relationships.
At the same time, this position will be directly responsible for the continued development of new strategic growth and business partnerships that could benefit from the platform offering.
This is an opportunity for a Senior Executive to put his benefits administration experience, web-based products industry knowledge, company/product build out skills, re-branding know how, and strategic business development methodologies to the test.
Youll be located at the corporate office in Atlanta and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
our client wants you to deepen sales channels within their portfolio of larger complex accounts, and develop a three year trajectory for process improvement, accelerated growth, and a new multi-faceted approach of bringing the platform product to market.
Requirements Requirements necessary for ideal candidateThis candidate must be a polished professional, with a history of developing methodologies for companies in the benefits brokers, and/or benefits administration consulting or technology markets with proven success in the development of additional market share, and broadened product spectrum.
You must have a minimum of 15+ years experience in strategic account development, and business development/quota attainment, including 10+ years of proven leadership in a professional HR consulting organization, national broker organization, or HR technology/software company within the small to mid-size employer market.
You are most comfortable developing relationships with C" level executives and key decision makers and have a history of developing relationships with key industry leaders.
Additional requirements are as follows: You have significant experience working with the benefits broker market, national benefits consulting groups, and the small to mid-size employer human resources information systems (HRIS) market.
You possess a deep knowledge of the overall workforce management landscape; including benefits administration, online enrollment, payroll, time and attendance, leave management, talent management, productivity applications, and corporate wellness.
You have a history of developing profitable relationships (including contract negotiation) with national accounts, channel partnerships, and third party solution providers.
You will need to: Develop and implement national partner business plans that drive measurable growth of our clients products and current strategic accounts (specifically with regard to the product platform).
Handle all contract negotiations, including securing new contracts, as well as recommend and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities.
You must possess: A Bachelors degree in related business, marketing, or technology.
MBA is preferred.
An extensive network of client and business relationships at the executive level within the HR, benefits, and workforce management markets.
A proven track record of hunting, farming and maintaining strategic relationships with large, high-value clients.
The ability to create a clear and understandable vision for strategic market development, secure buy-in from your organizations most senior leaders, and develop and execute plans to carry out your vision.
