Senior Technical Manager, Long Term Research Exercise Physiology Job Job in Chicago, Illinois US
Description- Lead the LTR Exercise Physiology education and professional liaison team - Accountable for developing and managing team objectives, programs, and budget in alignment with business strategy, and coordinated with Gatorade Marketing, R&D BU, and LTR Biology and Clinical Sciences teams- Manage internal and external support for Gatorade physiology education and professional liaison goals- Serve as mentor to junior scientists in team.
- Serve as technical expert in exercise physiology and have demonstrated ability to integrate other scientific disciplines including clinical research- Experience in nutrition and metabolism considered a plus- Use technical knowledge to lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams to integrate business strategy and provide solutions to business needs.
- Highly regarded technical contributor to academic and industrial scientific community.
Strong ability to synthesize, present, and publish data for internal and external audiencesRequirements: - PhD or MD/PhD in Biological Sciences with 10 years related experience.
- Strong technical leader with advanced communication, publication and strategy development skills.
- Budget and program management experience required- Experience in Nutrition and Metabolism a plus- Excellent collaboration and mentorship skills with focus on innovation and solutions.
- Highly creative individual with desire to gain and apply knowledge to new areas of research, processes and products.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplined team to drive integration of business strategy.
