Senior Systems Engineer Job in Rockford 61101, Illinois US
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products.
We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs.
Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
Looking for person with knowledge/experience with aircraft systems.
Responsibilities may include requirements design and development, system testing and product support of aircraft electrical products.
Systems engineers are required to work with a broad range of functional disciplines including electrical, mechanical and data communication interfaces.
Occasional travel will be required.
- BSEE or MSEE / BS in Computer Science or physics will be considered - 5-12+ years of experience with systems engineering of aircraft systems or sub-systems - Knowledge of aircraft electrical power generation and distribution systems is a plus.
- Applicant should have the ability to apply basic electrical and/or mechanical principles to design, analyze and conduct engineering investigations on electronic products - Applicant must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment - Knowledge of DOORS requirements management tool is desired.
