Provado Technologies has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer/Web Developer.
This position can base at our technology center located in Gainesville, Florida or Jacksonville, Florida and will report to the Director of Software Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Development of business applications in web-based and client-server environmentsWorking with end-users to determine product needs and designParticipating in design meetings with other engineersWriting functional and design documentation as neededWorking with software architects to develop overall design of new systems, modules and data layoutsCoding new software and performing unit and functional testing of the code.
Working with QA to resolve issues found in testingHelping to develop user documentationProvado Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.Job SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: Significant experience developing and supporting Internet-based applications with ASP.NE
2. 0 and C# using current Microsoft infrastructure and tool set.Solid knowledge of HTML and JavaScriptExperience with relational database systems; ability to write and use SQL queries and stored proceduresSkills: Ability to independently manage technical tasks including design, development, implementation, and configuration of software applications and hardware systemsStrong written and verbal English-language communication skillsPreferred Skills: Understanding of web service design, deployment, and integrationFamiliarity using Borland Delphi development tools and languageBackground with IBM DB2 database systemsOther Requirements: Permanent legal right to work in the United States.
