This project is referred to as the Incident Tracking system.
Primary tasks shall involve continued development of application modules using Oracle / ADF technology.
The Incident Tracking System has a well defined set of requirements.
The development of the system's basic look and feel is based upon existing UI template definitions.
Implementation of navigation patterns are expected to use accepted best-effort navigation patterns.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates a sufficiently deep understanding of Oracle / ADF to assist our client's existing development staff; some of whom have deep Oracle*Forms and Oracle*PLSQL experience and others that have deep Java experience.
This person should be able to develop an Oracle / ADF application using ADF components such as the "Shuttle" component and utilize experience with development of ADF Templates and Fragments, knows how to create Oracle Business Components (based on stored procedures), and render query results to the JSF / ADF UI components or persist user input to database via the BC. This person should know how to integrate ADF with third party software via third party software APIs.We need someone with a team oriented way of working.
This person will be expected to actively participate by developing and documenting best-practices and make note of issues which may arise during development efforts.
Writing well documented code within an Agile style environment with frequent review by peers is expected.
As a member of team, this person will assist with knowledge transfer as needed to other Developers through hands-on development in a collegial manner.
Experience with one or more of the following technologies is desireable: LDAP APIWeb ServicesSiteMinder Java APIBusiness Intelligence and Reporting Tool (BIRT)
