Role Summary/Purpose The Senior Software Engineer will be a key member of the Knowledge Services Engineering team responsible for prototyping, developing functional requirements, design, and implementing Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics customer Solutions.

This individual needs be comfortable working closely with customer in order to understand and capture their requirements and lead a team to deliver the RM&D solution for their asset base.

Essential Responsibilities Design and implement new knowledge services software products Serve as a lead developer for a small team of software engineers Build Cross-Business Roadmap Plans Complete feasibility analysis and prototyping Generate clear and concise design and code-level documentation Interface with QA to ensure software quality Investigate and innovate with new technologies and methodologies Collaborate with all stakeholders including other GE businesses to ensure product success Provide timely and accurate estimates for project deliverables Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor¿½s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Minimum 7 years experience using object oriented design, data modeling, and analysis methodologies Minimum 5 years experience programming in C# / C++ / Java / Objective-C Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work.
