Senior Residential Property Manager Job in New York, New York US
Our client, a successful real estate developer and manager, is seeking a Senior Residential Property Manager for its New York City office.
This position will supervise several property managers that in turn handle all building operations including: administration of all areas of management of multiple building locations (maintenance, tenant complaints, clerical, violations removal, etc.). Duties Include: Maintain knowledge of construction and building systems, New York City housing codes, various union contracts, and applicable lawsOversee the day to day operations of the propertiesExtensive interaction with the individual property managers; communicate with tenants, and supervise outside vendor relationshipsReview and authorize purchase orders and invoicesSupervise the preparation of vacant apartments and common area renovationRepresent management in union arbitrations and related mattersResponsible for the preparation of capital and operating budgetsOur client provides growth development and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401K plan and transit check.
A College Degree is required along with 8-12 years of experience with large unit residential complexes.
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, intelligent and seeking an opportunity for growth.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are required, including demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of staff.
The successful candidate must possess strong computer and interpersonal skills.
There will be local travel between buildings, so the candidate must have a vehicle.
