Electric Power R&D Company Seeks Engineer/Scientist for Energy Utilization Project (Knoxville, TN) The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) is looking for a project engineer/scientist for the Energy Utilization area of its Power Delivery & Utilization Sector.

In This PositionIn this role, you will: Power System Design and Test Project and Project Team Management Business and Client Development The Ideal Candidate: Holds a bachelors degree (preferably in electrical engineering).

Has three years of experience with the design, development and testing of integrated power and energy system components, including: UPSs Diesel generators Transfer switches Voltage regulation equipment Noise suppression filters Transient voltage surge protectors Transformers Overcurrent protection devices Has experience in an electrical test laboratory and a working knowledge of laboratory test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes Multimeters Current probes Digital power meters Data acquisition systems Is familiar with power conditioning systems and their applications.

Can effectively multitask and manage multiple projects, coordinate and facilitate technical engineering-related communications with peers and clients, and apply scientific and engineering principles, theories, and concepts.

Has impeccable communication, writing and presentation skills.
